From Scrubland to Sustainable Living

Touched by visits to many impoverished villages along the banks of the Mekong River, Hope Villages decided to resettle the homeless in Kampong Speu, 30kms south of Phnom Penh. Turning scrubland to sustainable living, Kampong Speu now house a community of 116 families of more than 1000 individuals. For these families, canvas shelters as homes and leaking roofs are a thing of the past. Villagers now have their own homes and new livelihoods. More than 400 children from three years are thrilled to come to class every day for English lessons at our Education Centre.

Our aim is to support our community by helping them to take their first steps towards improving their lives. Our focus is to give opportunities and help realise dreams.
