Visit to Phum Trea, Cambodia Aug 2010 Issue
Aug 1, 2010 | 0 comments
The group that visited Phum Trea Village lst December consisted of 41 members including our Hope friends from Malaysia and Brunei and 7 young Hope children age 9 to 13. While the doctors were busy attending to the sick these youngsters were busy setting up a carnival games and art activities to entertain hundreds of children from the village. Not knowing the language did not discourage them from making friends. It was a fun day with a soccer match, a campfire and a movie under the stars.
Our next trip is from 9th to 12th December 2010. We need doctors, nurses, teachers and assistants in our activities. Do help by volunteering your time on this meaningful trip.

At An Phu, the team met village elders from Masjid Al-Ehsan who expressed the wish for Hope Villages to provide English lessons to the children in the village. Many children gathered around the mosque during their visit, and were given coloring books, crayons, bags and pencils. Scarves and hats were also given to the village elders.
