Vietnam

Vietnam is the 13th most populated country in the world with over 89 million people living within her borders. Over the years, the nation has successfully reintegrated itself with the global community. The war-ravaged nation has slowly been introducing economic and political reforms since 1986.  However, these reforms have introduced inequalities in many spheres of life such as income distribution and women’s rights.

Hope Villages has adopted An Phu village, a Muslim Cham village in An Giang District, on the banks of the Mekong River close to the border with Cambodia.
